Will & Israel

Our Owner

Hi I’m Wilfred, Will, or best known as Woofred and I am the founder and owner of Woofred Dog Training. I am a father of 3 beautiful girls Brylee, Christal, and Alena, and a dog dad to Kovou. I’m the youngest of 3. I am proud graduate of John Ehret High School. After that I went on to play college baseball at Arkansas Baptist.

Growing up I’ve always had a love for animals, but like many others I found my calling as a dog trainer after I tried other careers. But as it often does life eventually brought me back to animals. I’ll never forget thinking about what I wanted to do as a career and a commercial came on about dog training from there I knew that was it.

Throughout my journey as a trainer and a business owner I have embraced the challenges that have come up such as the passing of my father, being diagnosed with the Kerataconis and dealing with a broken neck. These challenges have taught me three valuable lessons: 1. That tomorrow is never promised. 2. Being great at anything is never easy. and 3. Always remain humble.

With that said, I take great pride and I am greatly humbled to our ever growing list of clients and I will continue to treat every dog placed in my care with the utmost kindness, respect and care.

Isreal Jackson

Senior Trainer

Hi, my name is Israel. I’m a New Orleans native and a Graduate of Archbishop Shaw High School. I spent 4 years in Hattiesburg at The University of Southern Mississippi. I moved back home to New Orleans in 2017 and I have to admit, after being away I have grown to love the culture of my hometown even more. I played sports through out my life and I’ve even dabbled in art, but my love for animals and everything related has been going strong since I was 4 years old. Becoming a dog trainer was not at the top of my bucket list, but it’s been an absolutely rewarding experience. I have a five year old son and he’s taken interest in my career as well. He received his first puppy 2 years ago and they’ve been inseparable ever since. My goal is to give the dogs and puppies that may have struggled the attention and training they need to have a happy, rewarding and loving life with their owners. I’d like to reduce the amount of dogs placed in shelters because they may have been too much for their families. Here at Woofred Dog Training we believe in creating a happy and healthy life for your pup and your family. Training and meeting new families has become a passion for me and I look forward to welcoming you to our expanding family of clients and their pups.
