We cannot say enough good things about Woofred’s Dog Training. Woofred has become a part of our family since we began working with him almost two years ago for training with our high-energy Rottweiler as a puppy. We’ve done in home training, group training, and boarding with Woofred and every experience has been a joy. What we most appreciate about Woofred is his true concern. He’s taken my frustrated “I just don’t know what to do” calls. He checks in to see how things are going; and has helped us to enjoy ongoing independent training that’s needed. We’ve learned that dog training is a lifetime journey that is a big part of the relationship between pet and their person. Woofred works with us as a family helping each one of us to see the role we play. While guiding us through commands for our pup, he’s helped us build the confidence to handle our now 90+ pound fur baby. We understand her cues and can better position her to make good doggie decisions. We’ve gotten better at correcting bad behaviors and understanding why they happened in the first place. One of the things I’m happiest about is how our Rottie responds to things like our voice tone and nonverbals. It shows us that the time we’ve put in has helped form a bond of trust. Thank you Woofred for helping us to realize our potential as pet parents!

I have been a longtime client and I can say honestly and truthfully that I 100% recommend Woofred’s Dog Training.

Will started with my pup Maci Lou and I years ago. When I first called, I told him all my concerns and my goal. He listened completely and made me feel comfortable that I made the right choice before we even met. First session we had I was beyond nervous because Maci had a more aggressive type of approach to strangers even though I know she is the sweetest pup. Will came over and immediately corrected her improper greeting in the most professional, safe, and proper way. I can say that one correction was all she needed and she never acted that way again.

After our first 7 sessions, I had a completely well behaved pup who I finally understood how to communicate with correctly. I come from a vet med background and can be open that I did not know as much about animal behavior as I thought.

Fast forward, Maci Lou is now 5 years old. She not only is an amazing other half to me but also helps train vet med staff and donates blood to sick pups.
